The Story Behind Cycletrack:
A Father's Gift of Care and Simplicity
When Miro, a devoted husband and father of two teenage daughters, searched for a menstrual cycle tracking app that could help his wife and daughters stay informed about their cycles, he was surprised by what he found - and even more by what he didn't.
Most apps were bloated with ads, locked behind subscriptions, or overloaded with features that made them difficult to navigate. What Miro wanted was something simple, private, and accessible: a clean, ad-free app that worked both online and offline, could run on any device, and most importantly - supported multiple profiles so his daughters could use it individually, all managed from one family account.
He couldn't find one. So he built it.
Miro wasn't a large tech company or a startup entrepreneur. He was just a determined father who cared. He spent late nights and weekends teaching himself how to make a Progressive Web App - a website that works like an app on Android, iPhone, or any computer with a browser.
And thus, Cycletrack was born.
A minimalist cycle tracker designed with love and intention:
- Works on any browser, or can be installed like an app
- Supports multiple profiles from one account
- Free to use, with no ads, no data harvesting
- Easy enough for teens, respectful enough for adults
- Focused only on what matters: tracking, understanding, and planning
Miro didn't build Cycletrack for fame or profit. He built it because he believes tracking menstrual cycles should be a basic health tool available to everyone - not hidden behind paywalls or cluttered with distractions.
