Cycletrack (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have when using the Cycletrack web and mobile app.
1. Overview
Cycletrack is a free, private menstrual cycle tracker designed to work securely across devices. We collect only the minimal data necessary to provide account-based features such as login, data synchronization, and backup. We never sell, rent, or share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
2. Information We Collect
When you register or use Cycletrack, we collect:

We do not collect sensitive health data for advertising, profiling, or sale. All personal information is handled securely and used only to operate Cycletrack.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information only to:
- Create and manage your user account
- Synchronize your cycle data between devices
- Provide technical support and respond to inquiries
- Maintain and improve app stability and performance
- Comply with legal or security obligations when required
We do not use your data for marketing or share it with third-party advertisers.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Your account and sync data are stored securely on servers located in the European Union.
- All communication between your browser/app and our servers uses HTTPS encryption.
- Passwords are stored only as cryptographic hashes (never in plain text).
- Cycle data is accessible only to your authenticated account.
- Local copies of your data may also exist in your device’s local storage to support offline use.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
Cycletrack does not use third-party cookies or advertising trackers. We only use:
- Session cookies to keep you signed in
- Local storage / IndexedDB for offline access to your profiles, settings, and logs
You may clear these at any time through your browser or device settings.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- Your data is retained as long as your account remains active.
- You can request account deletion at any time by contacting privacy@cycletrack.app
- When your account is deleted, all associated personal and cycle data are permanently erased from our servers within 30 days.
- Locally cached data can be cleared manually from your device.
7. Data Sharing
We do not share personal or health data with:
- Advertisers
- Data brokers
- Social networks
We may share limited information only in these cases:
- To comply with lawful requests by public authorities
- To maintain security or prevent abuse of the service
- With service providers who operate our infrastructure under strict confidentiality agreements
8. Children’s Privacy
Cycletrack is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe that a child has created an account, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
9. Your Rights
Under the GDPR and similar data protection laws, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Withdraw consent for data processing
- Request a copy of your stored information

Cycletrack’s primary servers are located in the EU. If you access the app from outside the EU, your information may be transferred and processed under equivalent data-protection standards.
